A Dr Retro House Call gift certificate can be used towards the payment of one of the following services:

1) Dr Retro House Call

A “Dr Retro House Call” is a visit  to your home for pre-renovation design and building advice.  It is usually a two-hour appointment and is occasionally longer.  The total cost depends on the length of appointment and location to allow for travel times.    In 2020 I would like to revisit Adelaide, Hobart, Canberra, Bendigo, Ballarat, and Newcastle but these dates have not been finalised yet and will depend on co-ordinating the demand.

In 2019 there was not enough demand to visit Perth, Darwin or Brisbane so it is unlikely that I will visit these place in 2020 unless demand increases.

2) Dr Retro Colour Consultation

A “Dr Retro Colour Consultation” is a visit to your home to assist in the selection of the most appropriate materials and paint colours for the period and style of your home. The paint colours are selected from the full Dulux range of 4800 colours which is a lot more extensive than what is available in Bunnings. This includes access to our collection of original 1950s, 1960s and 1970s paint sample cards, a digital colour matching service and the supply of A4 sized colour samples posted to you after the appointment.

3) Dr Retro Online Skype Conference Call

A Dr Retro online Skype consultation is for home owners who want to chat and get some general advice about their mid-century home. You must be able to supply plans and photos of your home prior to the online appointment.  This is well suited for home owners in Queensland, Western Australia, Northern Territory and regional Australia who cannot source sympathetic local advice.  Unfortunately colour selections cannot be completed accurately with a Skype Conference Call.

4) Secret Design Studio’s Design Services

Secret Design Studio post-war and mid-century sympathetic design services for interiors and building design. The total cost depends on the extent of design services.

This gift certificate is transferrable so can be given to others which makes it an ideal house-warming present, or as a present, for the hard to buy for homeowner. Or you may just want to take advantage of this Christmas discount for yourself.  The actual certificate is a numbered A4 sized certificate on good quality photo paper, so looks very presentable with a quality feel.

To order a gift certificate please complete an enquiry form with your name, value of gift certificate (either $494, $396 or $100) , email address, postal address, and phone number.

I will then email you an invoice for your nominated gift certificate (plus GST), and on receipt of your payment, I will post the gift certificate, a receipt, together with details on how to redeem it.

Payment must be received by Wednesday 18th of December to guarantee postal delivery before Christmas.

Once the recipient of the gift certificate has it they need to contact Secret Design Studio to work out which type of appointment they need for their home, and book in an appointment time.  There is a three year time limit on gift certificates.

Remember that the $100 discount is limited to the first ten customers, and after the first ten certificates have been sold then the price will revert to the original prices, so don’t miss out.
