Dr Retro is booking in-home visits in Sydney in June 2022

After a few false starts over the past few years due to Covid, lockdowns and border restrictions, Secret Design Studio is bringing our much-loved “Dr Retro House Call” service to Sydney for a few days in early June.

In case you hadn’t heard about our “Dr Retro House Call” service it is a home visit consultation of around two hours to help answer all of your questions about renovating your mid-century or post-war home.   it is tailored for each client depending on the style of their home and what they need to know, based on their ten key questions.  Think of it as a pre-renovation information service that will help you either get the ball rolling or progress to the next stage in your renovation, providing design direction and clear, concise advice.

At the end of the consultation, you will receive a 20-page document in a PDF format outlining the strategies and options that have been tailored for you, your home, your budget and your key questions. For those seeking advice on paint colours, I will arrange A4 sized colour swatches to be posted to you after the appointment. For those that need assistance with understanding the heat loss and heat gain in their homes I will be bringing along a high-quality thermal imaging camera and will email you the thermal images after the consultation.

At the moment appointments are about 50% booked. The following days have appointment times available:

Tuesday 7th June 100% booked
Wednesday 8th – one afternoon appointment remaining
Thursday 9th June – two appointments remaining
Friday 10th June – two appointments remaining
Saturday 11th June – one afternoon appointment remaining (Sutherland Shire or thereabouts)
Sunday 12th June – one afternoon appointment remaining (North Shore/Northern beaches or thereabouts)
Monday 13th June 100% booked

If you are interested in securing one of these remaining appointments then please contact me as soon as possible. Once I have you pencilled in for an appointment date and time and I will email you a quote. Once you have accepted the quote the appointment is reserved for you.

I have run into issues with some clients wanting to overbook other clients appointments when there is a limited number available. If somebody asks about any unreserved appointment times I will always do my best to contact the original client to confirm that they do want to accept and reserve their appointment before letting somebody else have the opportunity to claim it.

If none of these dates work for you then I hope to return to Sydney mid-2023, or you can book in a Dr Retro Virtual Visit via Zoom. However a Zoom consultation will exclude any thermal camera imaging services, and accurate colour selection.
