Secret Design Studio – servicing all of Melbourne Metro

Secret Design Studio is based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne within half an hour of most of Melbourne’s Mid-Century hot-spots such as Ivanhoe, Kew, Balwyn, Blackburn, Caulfield and Beaumaris.  We prefer to do all of our consultations on site, in your home. This means that unlike many professional services we really do prefer to make house calls.  In this way we can get a better understanding of your lifestyle needs and ascertain inherent design elements so that they can be factored into your renovation or extension design.

Secret Design Studio – servicing beyond Melbourne.

As Secret Design Studio is the only building and interior design consultancy that specializes in Mid-Century homes in Australia we often receive enquiries from regional cities and interstate.  Unfortunately as a small business we cannot provide our full design services to these areas outside Melbourne.  However we can provide partial consultation services in a number of ways.

1. Working in conjunction with a local draftsman or architect who will have valuable local knowledge in relation to your council’s requirements.  We can also recommend architects that we have worked with previously who are excellent at residential scale extensions and renovations and are sympathetic to Mid-Century homes in Sydney.
2. Skype Design Reviews.
3. Re-imbursement for time and travel expenses in addition to our standard consulting fees.
