A big thank you to all of the people from around Australia that entered Secret Design Studio’s September colouring-in competition.  The judging panel was very impressed with the time and effort put into all of the entries, and it was too hard to decide which entries were the best three.   After lots of going back and forth, we decided that the fairest thing would be to award two equal third places.  Our first two places were division 1 entries (for entrants 18 years and older), and our two, equal third places were from division two (for entrants under 18 years old).

First Prize in Secret Design Studio’s Spetember 2021 colouring-in competition went to Rose S of Sydney for a $600 gift voucher.

First prize went to Rose S of Sydney who has now received her $600 gift voucher and plans to use it towards a Dr Retro House Call in 2022 when she commences her renovations. Rose completed her entry with some digital colouring techniques.  The judges loved her vibrant use of colour and the effort that the she put in to picking up individual architectural features. Congratulations Rose!

Second prize in Secret Design Studio’s September 2021 colouring-in competition went to Caz of Melbourne.

Second prize went to Caz in Melbourne who had previously booked in a “Dr Retro House Call” for his newly purchased mid-century home.  The judges like Caz’s innovative use of electrical engineering software to apply the colours to the image, which is probably the first time this software has been used for a colouring competition.  I am sure that Caz’s proposed renovation to his new home will be just as innovative, and colourful.  Caz hasn’t received his prize yet which is a beautiful 100o piece “Modern House” jigsaw puzzle by artist Chistian Musselman, but will have it handed to him personally when he has his “Dr Retro House Call” to his new home.

We couldn’t decide on a third prize, so decided to award two $50 EFTPOS gift cards to Olivia B, and Lachlan S.

Lachlan S of Sydney completed this vibrant and beautiful entry for Secret Design Studio’s September colouring-in competition which he has titled “The Wedding Celebration”, which looks like a fun celebration.  Lachlan’s $50 gift card is on its way via snail mail.
