From the Robin Boyd Foundation a new open house event Sunday 22nd May: “Following the success of last years Exemplary Apartments open day, this second open day of apartments looks at significant apartments of the early 1940s and 1990s. Apartments by Frederick Romberg, Roy Grounds and Nonda Katsalidis that radically changed public and developer perceptions and expectations of apartment design, together with some more recent projects which adddress contemporay issues.”
The Robin Boyd Foundation’s open days are always interesting and provides ticket holders the opportunity to visit private buildings that are generally not readily accessible to the public. There are a total of nine apartment buildings which are open between 10am and 4pm, so it will be a big day to see them all.
