I had the privilege of being invited for dinner to this mid-century modern home when I was passing through Portland on my return trip from Adelaide back in 2019. The current owners love their home, look after it and have it impeccably furnished. Built between 1962 and 1963 from designs completed by William ‘Tag’ Walter of Walter and Auty, a Warrnambool-based architectural firm. The current owners are a little biased, but they believe that they have one of the best examples of a ‘Tag’ Walter home, and after visiting I think that they are right!
